Single Origin - Colombian Supremo Popayan

Write a Review

This fully washed Colombian Supremo Popayan is grown in the acclaimed Cauca (market name Popayan) region. Lush with rainfall, cloud cover and rich soil conditions make it ideal for coffee cultivation.

The cool mountainous climate prolongs the development of the Popayan’s coffee cherry which deepens the berry flavour.

In the cup, it is a highly complex coffee. You will find notes of blackcurrant, dark chocolate, tea rose and a hint of honey. It displays a deep and rich body, deliciously light citrus acidity and a very creamy, long finish.

Medium, good for espresso, stovetop & plunger.

If you like your beans to be ground, please let us know in the order comments at checkout what coffee maker you have. If it's an espresso machine, please state the make and model.

    Best coffee

This is consistently the best coffee. Never let's us down. Only issue is when it is sold out because we were too slow and ignored advice that we could order in advance.

    Best Coffee in Sydney

The proof is that all visitors to our home say so.

On the rare occasions when it was not available, the comments were the same about the suggested di Bartoli replacement.
This proves that you can't go wrong with any di Bartoli bean selection.

When in doubt, I always choose this beauty

I have loved this bean since Di Bartoli introduced it. I try other types occasionally, but that seems to only confirm this as my favourite. Roasted in-house, grab a fresh batch to see what good coffee is meant to smell and taste like.
