Papua New Guinea produces some of the world’s best Arabica coffee thanks to the rich soil, high elevation and mild year around climate. Niugini Arabica is a boutique coffee company that sources organically grown beans from farming communities at the Eastern Highlands. The ripened cherries are handpicked and fermented, after which they are laid out to dry in the sun to achieve an optimal moisture content of 10 percent. The final step is a meticulous sorting process that retains the natural acid level and highlights the intense body of this coffee. This process preserves the inherent rich chocolate, nutty and caramel undertones.
