Hario Paper Filter is designed to assist in the dispersion of water across the coffee bed, resulting in a full and even extraction.
The Hario Paper Filters are single use only.
Pre-wetting the filter thoroughly with cold water before applying to the top of the coffee bed is recommended. In this way, you remove any loose paper fibres, and also enable the filter to disperse the water more evenly during the earlier stages of extraction.
