The Bezzera Magica is a powerful E61 group head Heat Exchange machine that represents massive value for end users. Combining commercial orientation of internals, great stainless steel quality, the famous Bezzera design patterns and features that add easiness and convenience to the home user. It has been our most popular selling model since its launch in 2010 and there are few very good reasons for it!

The Magica is an all rounder strong performer that ticks almost everything a home barista or an enthusiastic office user may need:

  • Large 2 litre boiler and 1400w element make steam pressure powerful and consistent with a very short recovery time
  • Large tank (4l) means you don’t often run out of water in the middle of a shot and it eliminates the hassle in removing the top cover and topping up water
  • Small footprint means it fits perfectly on most kitchen benches
  • Easily removed cup warmer plate means you don’t have to struggle with removing your cups from the top each time you run out of water, you simply remove it with the cup remaining on top! It’s also large enough to hold up to 8 cups for dinner parties!
  • Commercially designed 365 degrees ball join steam wand means you get ample steam pressure evenly distributed in the jug which makes microfoam a breeze. You also don’t have to worry about hitting the sweet whirlpool spot as the arm is as flexible a can be!
  • Toggle switches for steam and hot water give you better control over the milk texture as it eliminate the common doubt of: ‘how far do I go’?

It also has these great features:

  • A E61 Group head design with a thermosyphon system to regulate brewing water temperature (see below image)
  • Heat Exchange technology for simultaneous coffee making and milk steaming
  • A 2L boiler and 1400w element for high level of steam pressure and short recovery time
  • 2 gauges: one for steam pressure and one for pump pressure
  • A 4L tank with water pro sense on the side (the biggest tank among machines in its range)
  • A body in stainless steel AISI 304 polish
  • An adjustable Over Pressure Valve to allow change in pump pressure in the machine
  • Copper pipes for extra durability and longevity
  • A Fully flexible, ball-joint steam arm & hot water wand
  • An automatic boiler water supply and an automatic low water cut out
  • Dimensions: 30cm W x 42.7cm D x 42cm H
  • Net weight: 22.7kg

Awesome machine, but even better service from Ben and the Dibartoli crew

About six years ago we bought our first e61 espresso machine - an Isomac Tea, from Di Bartoli. It was great for most of those years, but recently was showing its age. After a half hour on the phone - on a Sunday, mind! - with Ofra, talking about the Bezzera Magica (and the Mahlkonig Vario grinder we ended up pairing it with), we made an order. The machine arrived on the Tuesday, having been tested and set up by Di Bartoli before they shipped it. (Di Bartoli's service hasn't dropped off in the slightest over those six years.) As for the machine itself, it's wonderful, and paired with the Vario, I'm making the best coffees I ever have (some of the best I've tasted, come to that). Big tank, boiler, and cup warmer - which really does get the cups very warm. Looks great, is sturdy, pulls great consistent shots, excellent steam pressure - and I love the toggles for steam and hot water, which have replaced the taps. My only minor quibble is the relatively-tiny drip tray; on the other hand, needing to empty it frequently makes sure it doesn't get dirty (though it's such a lovely machine it does encourage one to maintain it properly anyway).

Very happy with my new Bezzera Magica. I am sure that all E61 heat exchanger owners are happy with their machines, but I believe that the Magica is a great value for money as well as a fantastic machine. Large tank and boiler, a brand with a long history of excellence, proven Faema E61 group-head, joysticks for the steam and hot water. Consistently good coffee and plentiful steam power. And I really love the look of the machine; it is a centrepiece in the kitchen. Could not be happier with my purchase. Many thanks to the Di Bartoli team.

Having used a number of high end home espresso machines I finally decided it was time to upgrade to a prosumer machine. A friend has a Bezzera BZ07 and I love it, so this lead me to the Magica. Having read all the positives and negatives for the machine I finally pulled the trigger and purchased one. Best decision ever, the machine is amazing. I have never drunk so much coffee in my life, every pour is perfect. Big thanks to Ofra and the team for their amazing service & advice.

To those looking at purchasing a top of the line prosumer machine - you absolutely must consider this superbly packaged Bezzera machine. Amazing value, featured packed, perfectly tuned and amazing must see thermal stability for a H/X machine! The Magica has ample steam power and pulls superb shots - period. I absolutely love my machine and the traditional look and finish of the Magica. A huge thanks to Renzo and the team at Di Bartoli!
