Sweet Maria Caters for the Espresso drinkers this is a dark roast mix of Brazil Caldas Royale and the Guatemala Los Volcanos. Buttery and smooth with a hint of bitterness, following some roasted nuts in the cup. it delivers the purest traditional espresso experience.

An excellent blend. Goes very well with milk coffee drinks as well as espresso. My new favourite!

The coffee wasn't overpowering, but it also didn't lose the bitterness it deserves. My daughter just joined the family coffee lover and she said it was a little sour, but I think it's ok, I think the sourness might come from the apricot blossoms.

I usually drink this as espresso or a long black as those are my preferred coffees, it however is also excellent with milk which makes it a great all rounder choice.

I bought this based on the shop review. Quite appealing flavour. A distinct sweetness with light roast flavour. Well rounded. I like to have something lighter than some of the stronger flavoured coffees.

I made my wife her 1st cup of sweet Maria. She doesn't usually say much but this time she commented, "nice cuppa hon, sweet & chocolatey". I was about to say "well, why don't you just have a hot chocolate next time!" but refrained & enjoyed the peace & tranquility brought on by sweet Maria... seriously, a very nice bean roasted by guru Renzo. :)

Sweet Maria is a great blend, it works consistently for us and only disappoints under operator error. It is the coffee that you keep tasting long after the drinking is done. The flavour first up, is not bitter, then it is sweet, rich coffee follwed by the thick chocolatey after-taste.
