Single Origin - Indian Monsoon Malabar

Write a Review

Indian Monsoon Malabar AA is grown and processed at the best plantations in India. The Malabar coast provides ideal conditions for the monsoon winds to season the beans stored in open warehouses for up to 3 months. As a roasted bean, Monsoon Malabar has a funky, musty, earthy aroma.

As an espresso it has very low acidity, which produces extremely thick, rich and full cup. The flavor is sweet and intense providing one of the longest finish of any bean.

PLEASE NOTE: This coffee needs about 14+ days rest from roast date

If you like your beans to be ground, please let us know in the order comments at checkout what coffee maker you have. If it's an espresso machine, please state the make and model.

    Crem de la Crema

My favourite bean - strong flavour for my espresso , but with no bitterness. Excellent crema - always - now even moreso after cleaning my grinder & grinding a little finer.

    Consistent High Quality

Now on to my tenth or eleventh pack of this. It's changed a little over the time I've been using it but maintains it's silky smooth character and consistent quality. Slightly too fine or coarse doesn't seem to worry this bean and I'm getting cup after cup of golden crema.

A Bean that's impossible to stuff up.

I've had five or six kilos of India Monsoon Malabar now and each is as good as the last. No matter if you're drinking espresso shots or rich creamy lattes, this won't disappoint. My six year old boy sometimes makes my morning coffee and it's still a dream brew.

Renzo - what an amazing single origin! Excellent espresso and an amazing complex single origin. Tobbacco flavours with nutty feel is a must must must try! Thanks Di Bartoli and keep up the excellent work!

One of the best coffees I have had, and loved by both the espresso and latte drinkers in our house. Smooth, full flavoured without being bitter, a superb coffee.
