Single Origin - Brazil Caldas Royale

Write a Review

Volcanic Micro Region of Poços de Caldas is an authentic Brazilian coffee terroir, where farms are scattered along slopes of one of the most geologically
rich volcanic calderas(Caldas) in the world. With average heights from 1,000m to 1,350m, rich combination of volcanic minerals and rainforest soil and a rare climate condition, this unique Micro Region has ideal conditions for growing excellent and exquisite profiles of specialty coffee.

The subtropical altitude climate offers to this terroir an excellent rainfall rate and the largest thermal amplitude for a whole day of all the Brazilian coffee, growing regions, creating outstanding conditions for the maturation of the beans and triggering a burst of flavours into the coffee.

  • Altitude: 1000M to 1250m
  • Harvesting System: hand picked
  • Dry-process: natural
  • Relationship coffee. Click here for more info on the importer's direct relationship with the farmers

Medium strength, good for espresso & plunger

If you would like your beans to be ground, please state for what coffee maker you require the coffee, and if it is an espresso machine, kindly state the make and model in the delivery/order notes section during the checkout process.

    A Bean to Love

I am loving this coffee, very smooth yet full flavoured, perfect served as either a latte or shot, and stunning used in an affogato.

    New favourite bean

Posted by Andrew on 30th Apr 2013

While Colombian Supremo Popayan has bean my favourite, there is a new flavour competing for top spot on my shelf: the Single Origin of the Month - El Salvador Finca San Carlos. Give it a try before a new monthly bean moves in.
