From the Roaster's Corner:
Seasonal: Uganda Washed Bugisu AA
The Uganda Bugisu coffee comes from the Eastern region of Uganda, near the border with Kenya, where Mount Elgon lies. The people in this region of Eastern Uganda grow coffee by inter-cropping their plots of land, meaning that they will grow coffee and bananas on the same plot of land. The washing process is done by the farmers themselves on their individual farms before being picked up by mobile trucks that tour this growing region before bringing the collected coffees to Kampala where it is further processed for export.
Di Bartoli recommends brewing this coffee as either an espresso or long black, or brewed using your preferring alternative coffee brewer. This coffee also tastes great as a milky beverage of choice, however the more milk that is added the less pronounced the tasting notes will become.
