How to choose the Right Machine for you?


If you've landed on this page, you have taken the first (or second..) step in your research for the right Prosumer Espresso machine for you, or for your loved one and chances are you are hoping to get it under the tree or as soon as possible to indulge with it over the holiday. Right?

First up, you are not alone. Like you, we're supporting right now dozens of coffee lovers who are ready to take their coffee at home to the next level. But before we can get down to it, there are few very important messages we like to share with you:  

1. Global Shortage of Supply
That ECM or Profitec model you saw on Google or at a friend's house and thought looked great? Chances are it will not be an option this holiday shopping period. 

Covid-19 has greatly affected Prosumer coffee equipment globally. Due to the massive demand for home coffee machines and the severe shortage of supply, most of our range is currently on backorder and whichever model you were eyeing lately may not be coming to Australia at all this side of Christmas. ECM factory has closed down in Italy and there are no more ECM's at this point in time, and no ETA either. 

The good news is that Di Bartoli Coffee was able to secure a range of favourite brands and models with limited quantities to support the needs of our community this holiday. We have curated a fantastic range that is now  included in our Christmas Sale HERE. The not so good news is that our beauties are marching out of our door very quickly and that if you take too long to decide, there's a chance you'll miss out.

Another challenge is the early delivery cut off times of all carries before Christmas as they face massive volume of online orders these days. 2. There's no Cookie Cutter Solution 
What does that mean? It means that there is no one machine that is right for everybody. All the models on our Christmas Collection are of Prosumer level, high end, built to last, provide temperature stability for espresso, ample steam pressure for few milky coffees, it all comes with 12 months warranty and all can easily and quickly be repaired and serviced in our Sydney based workshop with parts available all year around. So your decision making wont focus on longevity, serviceability or built quality. 

So how DO I choose, you ask?

You choose based on the way each model performs in various situations and its relevance to you. This Knowledge can only be provided by our experienced machines specialists who know the machines in and out, work with home users for many years and now have an insight into the results YOU want to achieve, so they're able to put it all together and point at a choice that is likely to make you happy for the long run. Working with over 15,000 home buyers in Australia in the past 15 years, our data shows that if you end up rushing it and choosing based on someone else's experience, number of technical specifications, price or looks alone, you are likely to regret it.
