    unctuous, with terrific crema!

monsoon beans don't have two 'cracks', just continuous. About 2 mins after first crack sound, they're pretty much done in the Behmoor cheapie roaster. With a little time, roasting is great fun, and saves heaps of money. This roaster holds 400 grams, but I never do more than 300 grams which helps a lot with the evenness of the roast. Di Bartoli, - keep up the excellent sales and service work!

I have a $500 roaster, so nothing special, but after about 10 attempts (which produced very good coffee) it just got better and better. 'Monsoon' grown beans are a bit different. Make the time (if you have some to spare) and roaster investment, and be dazzled by the variety of excellence you can get from this bean.

    Incredible unique flavour

The flavour of this bean is like no other coffee I have tried. It is pretty hard to get right so the first few roast may not be that great, but do not be discouraged. It is hard to get all the beans roasted to the same level but when you do, this one will be the best you have ever tried. Get the roast settings from Renzo as a starting point then have a play.
